Details are pretty light on this one at the moment, but a couple of videos have cropped up in recent days demoing the as yet unreleased WiiGator GameCube Backup Launcher, which promises to let folks play GameCube “backup” copies on their Wii without a modchip. Judging from the video available after the break, everything sure does appear to work as advertised, although we’ll obviously have to wait for it to be released into the wild to know for sure.
