“Foreign intelligence agencies” are finding the “Great Firewall of China” (known internally as the “Golden Shield”) to be getting more difficult to break through in their ongoing efforts to steal Chinese secrets, according to a column on the Strategy Page web site. As a result, U.S. intelligence agencies “feel compelled to seek assistance from, and work with, HACKERS who are developing new ways to tunnel through the Golden Shield.”
