An initiative called the “Water Shelter” project envisions parachute drops of CYLINDRICAL SURVIVAL PODS packed with supplies to help to stranded refugees fleeing war, famine or floods. The parachutes then serve as tents, which collect, filter and store rainwater for drinking. Users can pack the tent, drinking water and supplies into the cylinder, which rolls for easy transport.
