‘Spray-On’ Computers Developed In Scotland
Scottish scientist have developed spray-on, “speckled” computers, that self-network. Researchers at Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews and Strathclyde universities are working on tiny computers, each the size of a match head, that can be SPRAYED on a human body. The computers then self-network, and can sense information, such as muscle movement and pulse rate. It can also be used for animation. They’ll unveil the research Friday at the Edinburgh International Science Festival.
