PC Virus Infects 2 Space Station Laptops
A password-stealing PC virus called W32.Gammima.AG was LAUNCHED INTO SPACE in July, unwittingly carried into orbit inside a laptop brought by one of the astronauts. The virus then spread to a second laptop on the space station through the sharing of a thumb drive. They can send a man to the moon — literally “they” — why can’t NASA virus-check laptops before sending them into orbit?
