Parents using cell phones as baby rattles
Is there anything cell phones can’t do? AP reports that a “mushrooming” number of applications help parents use their cell phones to distract and pacify their annoying children. The phones serve as everything from baby rattles for infants up to TV sets for toddlers — anything to distract them and keep them from being grumpy. And why not? That’s pretty much what we all use cell phones for, isn’t it?
