New Laptop For Doctors Does Ultrasound

Germany’s Siemens Medical Solutions unveiled a standard laptop PIMPED FOR ULTRASOUND. The product is “especially designed for mobile applications in cardiology as well as vascular applications and use in the operating room and anesthesiology departments.” Branded the Acuson P50, the device adds ultrasound electronics and special software to the laptop, which has two benefits: 1) it’s mobile; and 2) doctors can use the same laptop for surfing the Web, doing e-mail and running standard office applications. I want one.
