Microsoft Sued Over ‘Windows Vista Capable’ Logo

Unhappy Windows Vista customer Dianne Kelley FILED A LAWSUIT against Microsoft because she says its “Windows Vista Capable” logo is misleading. Microsoft reportedly allows the sticker even if a PC supports only Windows Vista Home Basic and does not support the fancy Aero UI. The suit contends that people are buying machines believing they will get to use the coolest features of Vista, when in fact they may not be able to. The suit was filed last week and seeks class certification and unspecified damages.
