The UK’s TIMES ONLINE claims that Microsoft and Intel tried to strangle the $100 lapop project (for kids in poor countries) in its crib. From the article: “Microsoft, makers of most of the computer software in the world, tried to kill it with words, and Intel, maker of most computer chips, tried to kill it with DIRTY TRICKS.”
