McDonald’s Unveils McCell Phone McOrdering

A McDonald’s in Korea is testing cell phone based ordering. The junk food giant is working with Korean telco SK Telecom to field test their “Touch Order” system. Customers sit down at tables, where they can plug a customized RFID device into their cell phones. They can then scan the menu with the phones, and push a cell phone button to order items. When the food is ready, customers are notified with an SMS MESSAGE.
