Marines Lock Down Fallujah With Biometrics

U.S. Marines are using biometrics to maintain peace and order in the former terrorist stronghold town of Fallujah, Iraq. The only way to enter the city is to produce a Marine Corps-issued badge, which requires that “Marines snap your picture, scan your irises, and take ALL TEN OF YOUR FINGERPRINTS.” The program is called the Biometrics Automated Toolset, or BAT, which inspired Batman logos on their laptops.
