Man to Live Underwater for Two Weeks

An Australian marine biologist, Lloyd Godson, plans to LIVE UNDERWATER for two weeks in a metal box 16 feet deep in a lake, just to show that it can be done. He’ll get oxygen — according to the plan, anyway — from algae that live on his urine. He’ll eat the algae, too. Ewww. If his pee plants don’t produce enough oxygen, he can use a pedal-powered device to suck air from the surface. The stationery bike also produces electricity to power his lights and waterproof laptop (which will be connected to the Internet).
