Kodak Makes Ink That Lasts 100 Years
Prints made from standard ink lasts around 15 years. Not a big deal in this digital age, since you could simply reprint from your digital copy. But Kodak likes the idea of long-lasting inks anyway.
Kodak’s new printer ink lasts not twice, not trice, but about 6.6 times longer than typical inks, 100 years to be exact. Not only will the ink last longer, it is cheaper as well, currently being priced at US$9.99 for a cartridge of black ink and US$14.99 for the five-color ones.
And as a bonus, the printers that this ink works on are blazingly fast as well, capable of churning out 22 pages per minute.
