HP Inkjet Technology Could Replace Shots

HP has created a medical patch for delivering drugs based on inkjet printer technology — the patch “PRINTS” DRUGS onto the skin for more controlled delivery than a conventional patch, and less pain than needles. “The patch contains up to 90,000 microneedles per square inch, microprocessors and a thermal unit,” according to a ZDNet article.
