High-Pitched, Anti-Teen Gadget Under Threat

I told you May 25, 2006, and June 8, 2006, about a device called the Mosquito alarm, which emits a noise so high only teenagers can hear it, and which is used to prevent teens from hanging out at malls and elsewhere. (I also told you about the use of the noise as a ringtone only teens can hear.) Now, the Children’s Commissioner for England, Albert Aynsley-Green, is proposing the ILLEGALIZATION OF THE MOSQUITO ALARM there because he says it “infringes the rights of young people.”
