Gang Banger On Parole Busted Via GPS

I told you April 14 that Southern California gang banger ex-cons were being fitted with GPS devices as conditions of parole. The idea was to keep them off former turf. But a string of robberies Wednesday prompted cops there to search the database of GPS locations against the time of the crimes, and found that one of the robbers was a GPS-WEARING BANGER on parole. Apparently you don’t need to pass an IQ test to join a gang.
