USC researchers surveyed 7,000 players of the RPG EverQuest II, and found that these gamers EXERCISE MORE and have a lower body mass index (they’re less fat) than the average American. (Unfortunately, “average American” is a low hurdle. Gamers exceeded physical activity of the average by getting just one or two days exercise per week. The lower-than-average body mass index for these gamers was still categorized as “overweight.”)
