If a job posting is enough to float a rumor (and in our world in can be) then it would seem that Danger is getting ready to roll out some type of Bluetooth driven GPS functionality. The job posting — though sadly gone now — was for a position to “Formalize the Java Native Interface and glue layer for binding the BT serial support as a GPS provider of data.” While this definitely doesn’t seem to hint at some sort of internal GPS functionality, we will of course take what we can get. As always with this type of thing (by “thing” we mean “rumor”), if we hear more we will get it up just as soon as we have it in our hot little hands.
