Chinese counterfeiters are like IP kleptomaniacs — if they see a consumer electronics design that’s succeeding in the market, they just HAVE to steal it. A Chinese “company” bizarrely named Peking University Founder Group has ripped off the Amazon Kindle’s design for their own eBook reader. The best part is the name of the fake Kindle. Just in case there’s any confusion over whether the design was theirs or somebody else’s, the device is called the “Wefound.”
