Chinese Company Wants Seagate, U.S. Freaks

Seagate CEO William Watkins says an unnamed Chinese company wants to buy the storage giant and that as a result “The U.S. government is FREAKING OUT,” according to a John Markoff piece in The New York Times. Chinese security agencies could use their access to disk drive controller chips to spy or to give themselves an advantage in a future cyber war.
