Canadian Virtual Guns Help Train U.S. Marines

The U.S. Marine Corps hired Vancouver, Canada-based NGRAIN to build 3D VIRTUAL MODELS to help train marines on the inner workings of “small arms” weapons. The PC-based models show details about the outside, inside and functionality of M16s, machine guns and grenade launchers. Animation shows how they come apart and go back together. After then learn all about the weapons, they train on the real thing.
