I told you August 11 that everybody wants to boycott China’s Beijing 2008 Olympic games but nobody agrees on why (cultural genocide in Tibet; regular genocide in Darfur; defective and dangerous products; catastrophic pollution; animal cruelty; slaughter of endangered species; repression of citizens; censorship; repression of the Falun Gong — take your pick). Now everyone from EU ministers to San Francisco protesters are calling for a boycott based on China’s active support of the CRACKDOWN IN BURMA. Why don’t we all come together and boycott the Olympics because of the entire list?
