Columbia Pictures is talking to David Fincher about directing a new movie about Facebook, according to variety magazine. The working title of the movie is: “The Social Network” (Thud! I don’t think so, dudes. How about using the title of the book this movie is based on: The Accidental Billionaires?) Actor Kevin Spacey is one of the producers. Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay. Both Superbad’s Michael Cera and Transformer’s Shia LaBeouf are being considered for the role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. According to CNET, Facebook itself “isn’t thrilled” with the movie, because the book portrays Zuckerberg as “an obnoxious nerd.”
