Black Friday Hits Retailers’ Web Sites Hard

E-commerce traffic Thursday night and all day Friday SURPRISED RETAILERS, with with Lowe’s, Macys and Victoria’s Secret “especially hard hit,” according to an eWeek story about statistics released this weekend by Keynote Competitive Research. The study said “the worst performing sites on Black Friday were showing as much as a 400 percent slowdown,” which may have killed a lot of sales.
